004: From Selling Over 100 Cars to Developing the ‘Tinder for Pets’ with Ben Burton

In this episode I speak with Ben Malcolm, a 25 year old serial entrepreneur working out of Coffs Harbour. Ben has been involved in a number of business ventures since he was 18, and he really seems like the kind of guy that would have still been entrepreneur 20, 50, 100 years ago.

The thing I like most about Ben’s story is that it started from humble beginnings and it’s very relatable, in the way that he tried a number of different things that eventually led him to being the founder of his mobile app Zeppee, which is basically a tinder for pets. So if you’re interested in adopting a pet make sure to check out the app Zeppee.

In this podcast Ben skips no details in describing all the different factors that led him to where he is today, from fitting out a VW Kombi to make a mobile coffee van, to having bought and sold over 100 cars, to finding investment in the network he had built, to hiring a terrible app development company in Pakistan over Upwork.com.
